What is Block Puzzle?
Block Puzzle is a relaxing yet ruthless game of fitting shapes onto a grid. There is always one more shape and never a rotate button.
How it plays
In Block Puzzle you get three shapes and drag each onto the 8x8 board wherever it fits. Complete a full row or column and it clears, freeing space. You must place all three shapes before a new set arrives, so planning where they go is everything.
No rotation, unlike Tetris
People often call it a Tetris cousin, and it is, but with a big twist: you cannot rotate the shapes. What you are given is exactly what you must place. That single rule changes the strategy completely, forcing you to leave the right gaps for whatever might come next.
An endless score chase
There is no winning screen. The game continues until no shape fits, so the whole point is a high score. Because it never ends, it is scored differently from timed games, as our page on how puzzles are scored explains, and our high-score guide helps you push further.

How do you get a high score in Block Puzzle?
Keep as much open space as possible, and try to build toward clearing several rows or columns at once for bigger scores. Fill from the edges inward so the center stays flexible, and always leave a gap large enough for the biggest shapes, since nothing rotates.
What is 2048?
2048 is a number puzzle played on a 4x4 grid. You slide all the tiles in one direction, and when two tiles with the same number touch, they merge into one that doubles in value. The goal is to combine tiles up to a 2048 tile. Gabriele Cirulli created it in 2014.
Which puzzle is best for beginners?
For a gentle start, try the classic Slide Puzzle, Memory Match, or an easy Word Search. Their rules take seconds to learn and give quick, satisfying wins. Once you are comfortable, 2048 and nonograms add more depth without feeling overwhelming.
